The Ideas Festival is free and open to all adults, regardless of where you live, your educational background, or whether you’re working, staying at home, or retired.
Join us for our first‑ever Ideas Festival, a two‑day celebration designed to spark curiosity and inspire lifelong learning for adults.
The Ideas Festival on the OLLI campus located at George Mason’s Fairfax campus introduces adults to our rich educational, social, and cultural programs. The festival includes a panel discussion, 20 classes, demonstrations, and interactive activities.
- Panel discussion: Saturday, May 9 at 3:00 p.m., examining global perspectives on aging and featuring insights from leading experts in the field alongside George Mason University faculty.
- Participate in classes showcasing a wide range of subjects, including art, health, music, history, poetry, the humanities, yoga, and tai chi.
- Join OLLI clubs offering demonstrations and displays that highlight the diverse hobbies, creative pursuits, and shared interests available.
- Different classes and activities each day
- Stop by for one session, stay all day,
or spend both days exploring all OLLI Mason has to offer.
You’re welcome to attend the Ideas Festival without registering, but an RSVP helps us prepare for the expected number of guests. We will use your email solely for updates and information about the Ideas Festival.
