Concluding thoughts
- Question: How to use video in
PowerPoint presentations at OLLI?
- Answer: Search Google ... or
better yet, search YouTube! One of the top search results is "Embed
YouTube Video into PowerPoint 2007" at http://tinyurl.com/6zhxzl
- Know going in that video editing
requires attention
to detail and patience ... and, if you are a
perfectionist, considerable time (just like Photoshop)
- Get
your "feet wet" by taking some video: use
whatever you now have or buy an inexpensive camcorder
- It can be fun and allows you
to exercise your
creativity, and you might like it
- Try editing with
free software such as Microsoft Movie Maker or Apple iMovie
- Try
uploading the movie to YouTube and send
the
link to family/friends
